REV Arts supercharge your special moves, while REV Accel lets you string together those eye-popping combos to keep the pressure on your rival. But that’s not all—it’s great for defense too. With the REV Guard button (R1), you can keep your opponent at arm’s length and improve your chances of victory. Just tap that button to thwart incoming threats, especially when you’re bracing for tricky moves like Kain’s Schwarzes Rondo or B. Jenet’s Gulf Tomahawk. Plus, with REV Guard, you can seamlessly input other actions, like grabbing or hopping, to maneuver out of tight spots. Make it second nature to engage REV Guard when you wake up from an attack—it’s a lifesaver in battle.

Looking to execute some jaw-dropping combos? Let’s shine a spotlight on our iconic comeback characters: Mai Shiranui, Rock Howard, and Terry Bogard. Each has a slick step-by-step guide for high-level combos that will dazzle your friends and opponents worldwide.

For Mai Shiranui’s combo, start with a close neutral HK, follow with a feint, and then proceed with the HP Hana Arashi while braking. Engage in a series of REV moves, ending with Kagerou no Mai to land a flourish that’s sure to impress.

Rock Howard’s sequence kicks off with a close neutral HK, smoothly transitions into a feint, followed by the REV Hard Edge, and ultimately climaxes with the formidable Raging Storm.
