According to poncle, fans can expect a cross-save feature across all platforms very soon, possibly with the upcoming patch 1.13. However, they’ve been clear about aiming for it without making any absolute promises. They’re also working on bringing online co-op into the mix this year, though again, nothing is set in stone just yet.
Beyond the game itself, poncle is collaborating with Story Kitchen on a live-action film adaptation. They’re taking their time to ensure they find the right partners, emphasizing that creating content outside the video game realm needs solid ideas, much creativity, and a deep understanding of the game’s quirky essence. As for game content updates, poncle’s focus this year is on delivering substantial free updates, though they might arrive less frequently. They’re bringing out more Adventures, including one for Tides of the Foscari. They’re also mulling over an Adventure for Ode to Castlevania because they want to make it stand out as something unique compared to standard expansions. While paid DLC isn’t entirely off the table, delivering content on par with the size of the Castlevania expansion is a challenge to achieve again, especially at a similar price point and within a reasonable time frame.
