A beloved franchise that took many of us back to our teenage years with tunes like Goldfinger’s “Superman” and sparked a skateboarding craze is back for another spin. Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 is gearing up for release on July 11, available on PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch.
In keeping with the nostalgia of its forerunners, much like the remastered Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2, this new edition will revisit iconic locations such as Foundry, College, and Alcatraz while also introducing some fresh environments. The games’ soundtracks, which have become legendary in their own right, are getting a refresh with additional tracks. Plus, there are new skaters to join the classics. Everything’s getting a modern touch, including visuals upgraded for high refresh rates and ultrawide monitors, though you can always switch back to the original graphics for a throwback vibe.
Want to secure your copy early? Here’s the scoop on all the editions you can pre-order, where to snag them, and what each package offers. A heads-up for those on PC or Xbox: Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to dive into the action from day one.
### Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Standard Edition
Priced at $49.99, the Standard Edition won’t come with any frills, but by pre-ordering your digital or physical copy at any retailer ahead of the July 11 debut, you can get early access to the Foundry demo. This preview includes two parks and skaters, letting you test the waters pre-launch. Plus, there’s an exclusive wireframe shader for Tony Hawk himself.
### Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Digital Deluxe Edition
The Deluxe Digital Edition steps things up at a $69.99 price tag. Along with early access to that Foundry demo and the wireframe Tony shader, you’ll get goodies themed around Doom Eternal. This includes Revenant and Doom Slayer skaters, five unique skate decks, and special cosmetics for the create-a-skater mode. Not to mention the Unmakyr Hoverboard and tracks from the Doom Eternal soundtrack. And to sweeten the deal, you can hit the skate parks three days before everyone else.
### Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 – Collector’s Edition
For those who want it all, the Collector’s Edition is the premium package at $129.99. It encompasses everything in the Digital Deluxe bundle, including the early access perk. What sets it apart, though, is the limited edition, full-size Birdhouse skateboard deck. Just a heads up, you’ll need to get your own trucks, wheels, and grip tape to get this board shred-ready.
