In an intense moment, I found myself dodging fireballs from a massive drake, trying to maintain my footing on a fragile wooden scaffolding. Arrows flew from my bow as I skillfully twisted and turned, avoiding fiery death. Successfully evading the barrage, I was feeling quite accomplished—until I realized the very structure beneath me was ablaze. With the scaffolding collapsing rapidly, and me precariously high above the ground, I quickly leaped onto a safer, unburned section. Turning to face my winged adversary, I tapped into my magical abilities, hurling a flaming chunk of the destroyed scaffolding back at the creature. It was a triumphant blow that finally took it down, and I have to admit, I felt like a hero.
However, as often happens in the unpredictable world of Eternal Strands, the victory was short-lived. A stray piece of debris tripped up my character, leading to an awkward fall from the tower, leaving me battered but miraculously alive. It’s just another chaotic yet exhilarating experience in this ambitious, if occasionally clunky, action-adventure RPG. — Zack Zwiezen
