Apex Legends Season 24 is here, bringing a heap of exciting updates. From boosts to weapons and changes to Armor and Helmets, to introducing Arsenals, there’s a lot to dive into. This season isn’t just about gear, though; it also expands the experience with a brand-new Ranked system and numerous bug fixes to improve overall gameplay.
Since its launch, Apex Legends has carved out a prominent spot in the battle royale genre, providing a fresh alternative to giants like PUBG and Fortnite. As a live-service game, it has consistently evolved, rolling out significant updates over time to keep things interesting. Respawn Entertainment is far from done with this evolution, and they have a major 2.0 patch lined up that promises to take the game even further.
This season, Arsenals make their debut, with set locations on each map. These stations ease the access to weapons and ammunition and introduce perks that enhance the Assault class, giving it a strategic advantage. The class can now hoard additional ammo, enjoy extra grenade slots, and access Red Extended Supply Bins.
A highlight of Season 24 is the enhancement of certain Legends, most notably Ash. Her Arc Snare now resists instant destruction and has improved tethering capabilities, while her Phase Breach boasts an extended range and a nifty VFX indicator. Plus, Air Dash, a new movement passive, offers exciting combat repositioning opportunities. To top it off, Ash receives an extra dash charge at level 3.
The support role hasn’t been ignored either. Respawn has fine-tuned its capabilities, removing the perks that felt more for personal survival than team play. Supports are now reshaped to align more closely with their roles, prioritizing the team over individual longevity.
Among other updates, Season 24 introduces a Bot Royale tutorial, alongside new maps, modes, and a slew of quality-of-life enhancements. Numerous bugs have been addressed, ensuring players can enjoy a smoother gaming experience.
